September 27, 2006
10/4 Leave the U.S. for Guangzhou. LAX to Guangzhou 11:50PM.
10/5 Still en route…. Flying somewhere in the world! 10/6 Arrive in Guangzhou. 6:30 AM (1:30 PM 10/5 Pacific time) Go to the White Swan Hotel for free time.
10/7 Free time! Rest, shop, tour.
10/8Leave Guangzhou for Nanchang on China Southern.Go to the Galactic Peace International Hotel.
10/8 (Evening) Go to get Gracie at the Provincial Registration Office!!!! Email Tory more pictures of Gracie
10/9 Adoption Registration, Notarization and apply for Gracie's passport today.
10/10 CCAI’s contracted medical consultant will be available for your child’s medical needs while you are in Nanchang. She will be visiting Gracie, in the hotel room today.
10/11 Rest or optional city tours. Receive Gracie’s notarized adoption documents this afternoon.
10/12-13 Rest or optional city tours. Waiting for paperwork to be completed.
10/14 Rest or optional city tours. Receive Gracie’s passport, Registration Certificate, and notarized adoption documents this afternoon.
10/15 Rest, shop, tour.
10/16 Leave NanChang for Guangzhou on China Southern flight. Go to the Victory Hotel. Have Gracie’s visa, physical and visa photo taken today. Walking to the clinic. Group meeting today to prepare paperwork for the Consulate appointment.
10/17 Today is the Consulate appointment.
10/18 Go to the U.S. Consulate to take the oath in the afternoon. Receive Gracie’s visa packet at the conclusion of the oath ceremony.Leave Guangzhou for the U.S. 9:00PM WELCOME HOME! Arrive at LAX 6:50PMWe arrive home 3 hours before we left!
